CONGRATULATIONS to the Slash B/Dagger Draw team from Dexter, NM!
They came out on top as the Champion Team. Besides winning cash and prizes, the team wins a bid to the Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championships held in November in Amarillo, TX. The Slash B/Dagger Draw team scored in all five events, winning the three of them—Team Branding, Team Doctoring and Wild Cow Milking.
Slash B/Dagger Draw team members are captain Matt Stockton, Wes Housler, Steven McCutcheon and Gideon Peterson.
Grumpy, from the Hager Ranch, was named Top Horse. Buddy Thomas from the Spires Ranch was named Top Hand and Brad Shadle from the Schneemann/Middleton Ranch team was named the Hard Luck Cowboy.
Placing second was the Driver Cattle Co, from Garden city and third place went to the Crossroads/Higg Ranch team from Elkins, NM.
