Whitney Hall & JD Williams Elected to WRCA Board of Directors
WRCA is proud to announce that Whitney Hall of Loco, Oklahoma, and JD Williams of Lusk, Wyoming, were recently elected to the WRCA Board of Directors.
“Both Whitney and JD are great additions to our board. They understand our mission because they live it every day,” says Shawn Goemmer, WRCA President. “They have been involved in one way or another with WRCA for years, and to now get them on the board is great for our association.”
Whitney Hall
Whitney manages the family ranch—a cow/calf operation that takes in yearlings during the summer. She enjoys doing anything horseback, especially if it involves cattle. Whitney also enjoys working with young horses and watching them grow into well-trained horses she can use anytime, anyplace, for any situation.
“I am so honored to be able to be part of the WRCA board. I never in a million years dreamt I would have this opportunity,” Whitney says. “I’m so excited to build relationships with people who love what I love. Words cannot express the gratitude I am feeling. I hope I can fill the position to my highest ability and can’t wait to begin this journey.”
JD Williams
JD is a Wyoming native who has managed Four Three Land & Cattle for 22 years. The Four Three is an Eastern Wyoming grass ranch that has competed in many WRCA events over the years. JD is currently serving in the Wyoming State Legislature as the representative for House District 2. “I am honored to be associated with WRCA and the WRCA Foundation,” JD says. “They have been a very generous friend and neighbor to the Four Three over the years. WRCA’s tradition of excellence speaks for itself. I am thankful to have the opportunity to serve on the WRCA board, and I am looking forward to making a hand on a new outfit.”
