WRCA Endorses Cowboy Events
The Working Ranch Cowboys Association mission is to promote ranching and to preserve the lifestyle of the working ranch cowboy. For 25 years, WRCA has sanctioned up to 24 ranch rodeos annually, with winning ranches receiving an invitation to compete at the World Championship Ranch Rodeo.
As part of WRCA’s 25th Anniversary Celebration, WRCA will now offer another way to advance the cowboy lifestyle. “There are many unique cowboy-oriented activities that happen all over the world, and WRCA wants to help bring more attention to these great events and to the cowboys who help make them special,” said WRCA president John Welch.
WRCA welcomes a partnership with select cowboy-oriented events that share the same mission of promoting ranching and the cowboy lifestyle. Together, they will help bring even more attention to this great industry and share the cowboy message with generations to come.
“We are proud to recognize our initial list of WRCA Endorsed Events that have already come on board with this new program,” said WRCA manager Leman Wall. “They represent the type of events that fit our vision.”
